Bespoke induction range, 6.3 cu ft. Most cooktop complaints begin with the pan, not the range.
The NSI6DB930012AA is a current Samsung Bespoke induction range with a 6.3 cu ft oven. The NSI prefix marks induction, which means the cooktop heats cookware magnetically instead of by flame or a glowing coil. That changes what goes wrong and how you test it.
An induction surface only heats a pan it recognizes. Aluminum, copper and glass without a magnetic base are ignored, and a warped pan may lose contact with the glass. If a magnet sticks firmly to the underside of the pan, it is a good candidate. When Samsung’s pan detection error appears, the manual describes the cookware as unsuitable by size, material or placement, and the element turns off after a short time. Moving the pan to the center of the marked zone is the first fix. Our note on an induction cooktop that will not detect a pan goes further.
Fan noise alone is normal because induction electronics need airflow. Persistent rattling is not.
The range oven is electric, so complaints mirror any electric oven: slow preheat, uneven browning, a lock latch that will not release, and a display that freezes. We cover two of those in the guides on slow preheating and uneven baking.
If the glass is cracked, switch the range off at the breaker and stop using it. A burning smell or sparks also means power off.
A plain diagnosis, a written estimate and your approval come before any repair. Read the Samsung range and oven repair page, and look at Samsung ranges and ovens to compare ranges. The label with the exact number is usually behind the oven door frame.
Often the pan is not magnetic enough, is too small for the zone or sits off center. Test with a magnet and move the pan before assuming the range is faulty.
It is electric. Samsung lists the range as a Bespoke induction model with a 6.3 cu ft oven.
The electronics beneath the glass need to shed heat, so a fan can run for a while afterward. A grinding or rattling fan is worth a visit.
No. Power it off at the breaker and arrange an inspection.
