Error code41 / 42
ApplianceRefrigerator
Family Hub models
This pair belongs to Family Hub refrigerators. The 41 or 42 appears together with interior lights that flash blue, and the screen is not behaving as it should.
Reboot
Find the power switch inside the refrigerator, high on the right door.
When the Family Hub screen still misbehaves after a reboot, (415) 969-6153 is the line for Samsung refrigerator repair in San Francisco. Mention the code, the blue lights and the model number.
Model compatibility: Samsung reuses codes across series and model years, so 41 / 42 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means

Important safety warning. Do not attempt repairs involving electrical components, gas, water lines, refrigerant or sealed systems. Unplug the appliance if it is safe to reach the outlet, and leave internal diagnostics to a qualified technician.
