Error code dE / dC
Appliance Range

Flex Duo divider message

Only Flex Duo ranges use this code. It shows as -dE- or -dC- when the partition, which is also called the divider, is out of place. Two situations trigger it: the divider is not properly installed, or it was put in or taken out while the oven was in the wrong cook mode. Starting to cook before the partition is in will bring it up as well, and the user manual names the cooking modes available in Twin Mode.

Checks, by situation

  • Partition in the oven: pull it out and set it again, pressing it in as far as it goes. Both sides belong in the 3rd position from the top for electric and dual fuel, or the 4th position for gas.
  • No partition fitted: see that nothing is pushing on the partition switch at the back.
  • Dual cook mode: do not remove the divider while it is cooking.

After the checks, power the oven off and back on. When the code stays, cut power for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect.

Compare

door reports a door that is not closed, while C-d1 is a lock malfunction.
